Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, tattoo artist Jesse Zarate started off in the art world while studying at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. Today, the human body is his canvas. His art draws from multiple influences and styles. Zarate's black & gray and color compositions are inspired by his active imagination, modern pop culture, history, and timeless religious traditions.
