Shear Instincts Hair Salon Provides Unrivaled Cutting, Coloring, and Waxing for Women as Well as Mens & Kids Haircuts in the West Islip Area.Shear Instincts was opened in 1983 and has been serving West Islip and the surrounding areas for over 25 years. The staff is adept in all forms of haircutting and haircoloring techniques. Shear Instincts is an avid contributor to local charities and organizations. Shear Instincts organized six annual "Clip for a Cure" fund raisers.The salon raised over $18,000 for Breast Cancer Help. Shear Instincts has also received a plaque from Masera Learning Center for their continuous support and encouragement to the students.
