We are a family owned and operated pro BBQ competition and catering team out of Stockton, Ca. We were formed in 2007, by Pitmaster Chris, myself (Bekah) and our 3 kids, Our last name is Juencke, pronounced Yankee, so it seemed fitting to name our team Smokin' Yankee's since we are a family team and nobody can pronounce Juencke! We have traveled many places to compete at KCBS sanctioned contests, including Kansas City Missouri to compete at the world series of BBQ - The American Royal, where we placed 4th in brisket out of 438 teams the first year we went.
