Established in 1965. Southwestern Association of Martial Arts (The Boxing Zone) was established by, 7th Degree Grand Master and native San Diegan, Victor M. Beltran Jr. in 1986 at The Border View YMCA on Beyer Way. GM Beltran has been teaching in Southern San Diego ever since. Southwestern Association of Martial Arts (The Boxing Zone) under the direction of Grand Master Beltran has been dedicated for over 30 years, to the continual positive development of San Diego's Youth through the instruction of Martial Arts and Boxing Discipline.
