West Houston Community Health Center - A leading primary health care organization in West Houston & Katy serving more than 20,000 patients through its community based clinics. Our commitment to quality of care will remain one of our top priorities, providing comprehensive services across all of our specialties. We aim to shift the dynamic of care towards being patient centered, and becoming a preferred medical home for all who seek it. In 2003 a group of community leaders decided to take action to help reduce healthcare disparities by creating a neighborhood-based health center. With the financial support of neighborhood churches and private donations the clinic opened its doors in May 2004 offering services three days a week. In 2005 the community clinic was designated a Federally Qualified Health Center, and in 2009 SBCHC added a satellite location.Our Pitner Clinic is located at the Spring Branch Family Development Center.
