Stephan's Home Comfort Services was founded by Hung Nguyen, who began his enterprise by repairing and installing refrigeration systems, air conditioners, and heaters for the Vietnamese community of Little Saigon in Garden Grove in 1988.After immigrating to the United States from Vietnam with his wife and first son in 1985, Hung found that the heating and air conditioning business was one way he would be able to contribute significantly to the lives of others. He named his company - originally called "Stephan's Refrigeration" - after his second son, Stephan, who was born the year Hung founded the business.Now an HVAC specialist for nearly 25 years, Hung has expanded the business throughout the remainder of Orange County and all of Southern California. He and his brother Tuan, a sheet metal fabrication and construction specialist who joined the business in 1995, currently oversee ten employees, four vans and a 5,000 square foot warehouse.
