I was born in Tryon, North Carolina, and Polk County has been my home for most of my life. Steve Flynn, MasonAs a child, I was blessed to live on the Pacolet River, where fishing and swimming are everyday pleasures. My other joys were playing Little League Baseball at Harmon Field and adventures with the Boy Scouts of America. Today my adventures often include Echo, my dog, as we enjoy hiking in the mountains and canoeing the rivers. I am very lucky to live in a mountain town where folks are so friendly!
