A few years ago, The Cornerstone Bar & Grill was just a distant dream.With a combined 25 years experience in the service industry, we decided to walk away from our sales and legal professions to jump into our dream of owning a restaurant/bar in mid-2011. After Leasing the old valley inn building in the Historic Clarence Hollow, we spent 2 1/2 months cleaning and fixing up the building with help from friends and family.We opened The Valley Bar & Grill in August 2011 and fought to rejuvenate the once-Clarence hotspot location. Unfortunately, on December 15, 2012, the building suffered a small fire, which shut down the business. With the hopes of renovating the needy building and In an effort to purchase the building, we entered into a 4-month stalemate, which resulted in renovations beginning in May 2013. Renovations included completely rebuilding the bar floor, bar (with extended layout), bathrooms, all flooring, all painting, all electrical, all plumbing and much more! After a long drawn-out construction process with numerous hick-ups, we finally opened on Halloween 2013 with a tremendous amount of help from friends & family.
