The Guayabera Lady

Berta R. Bravo moved to the United States with her family from Cuba as a young child. In 2003. At the age of 47, Ms. Bravo began selling guayaberas from the trunk of her car where she earned the nickname "The Guayabera Lady." She opened her first shop in Coral Gables and incorporated in 2005. As the company grew it became necessary in 2012 to acquire larger facilities which include a showroom, distribution center, and administrative offices. Today we designs, manufacture, wholesale, and retails classic Guayabera apparel and accessories serving the international market space. The basic Guayabera is a beautifully crafted four pocket shirt, with intricate pleading details in the front and the back of the shirt. Ms. Bravo reinterprets the Tropical Lifestyle with a new and innovative approach by redefining its elegance and style which is embraced by both tradition and new generations.
