We tried to open the Old Gold in 2006. We actually opened the Old Gold in 2011. Truth be told, we didn't know what we were doing back then. Hell, maybe we still don't know what we are doing. But in those five years we plotted and schemed and dreamed up a way to open a bar in our little corner of the Overlook Neighborhood.
