The Oyster Bar ll

Originally opened by Justo Barrientes, Sr. and his wife Consuelo, "Snookie," Barrientes in 1950 in the historic downtown Brownsville, Texas. Other locations later opened in Harlingen, Weslaco, McAllen, and another Brownsville location on Paredes Line Road near Boca Chica Boulevard. The upkeep of these restaurants is maintained bye Justo Barrientes' sons, son-in-law, and grandsons.
