The Village

The Village, a gastropub and small bites lounge, opened its doors in July of 2012. The venue is the new brainchild of Chef Frank Leon who has owned the beloved Studio City hot spot La Loggia Italian Bistro and Next Door Tapas Bar for the last 27 years. "The emergence of youthful and hip bars on Ventura Boulevard has my heart racing again," said Leon. "La Loggia and Next Door have remained go-to dining destinations among families in the neighborhood for years. My hope is to create a similar community experience for the young professionals who are skipping the Hollywood scene and opting for nightlife on this side of the hill." To transform the familiar neighborhood essence of La Loggia into a haven for a younger generation, Frank sought the advice of La Loggia and Next Door's loyal, young-Hollywood patrons. From those conversations, The Village was born.
