After attending Chiropractic Assistant Training at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA, Sandy Saldano, Pres./owner, received her associated in Bus. Admin at Scott Comm. College. She then came to Chicago to attend Chicago School of Massage Therapy. At graduation, she was hired by a local chiro. in Highland Park where she stayed for 9 years. In 1997, she opened Therapeutic Kneads, Ltd. on Elm Place. For 10 years the business grew from a single practitioner to over 10 licensed massage therapists on staff. Moving to a larger and newer facility on Green Bay Road in 2007, TKL expanded it's retail selections of self-care items and service space to over 3000 sq. ft. TKL expanded its staff to over 15 therapists & 4 FT admin. The client list continues to build with expansion into Corporate Chair Massage and Employee Benefit Programs and Wellness Fairs. Sandy won the 2010 Employer of the Year by the IL AMTA & TKL received Angie's List Super Service Award for 2012.
