Steve McGarry is a Boston-area voice talent and singer, as well as a software engineer. Wren Ross has been Steve's acting and voice-over instructor for a number of years. Steve's demos and projects which are available on this web page were produced and directed by Wren. Her efforts have been instrumental in transforming a singer into a continuously-growinig actor. While Steve has been singing since elementary school, his voice truly began to shine once he started working with Barbara Wilson-Arboleda at Voicewize. Barbara's training has expanded Steve's range from a Second Bass, up into the lofty Baritone world. Barbara also realized that the Estill Voice Technique would resonate with Steve's left-brained, engineering background. Indeed, after singing for more than 40 years, Estill training expanded Steve's control of his "instrument", such that, all of the tonal qualities are now concious choices, rather than merely fortunate happenings.
