Tom Byer started his roofing career with his dad in Sierra Madre in 1945. Tom moved to Orange County in 1981 and opened Tom Byer Roofing in 1983. Brian W., Tom's step son, started at Tom Byer Roofing in 1985. In 1989, Brian obtained his state contractors roofing license and in that same year, the company went from a sole proprietor to a corporation. Brian obtained his Class B general contractor license in 1992. Company is still a family run business located in Garden Grove.
