Wood carvings, pottery, and ceremonial masks abound, ranging from New Guinea to Nepal to old Mexico to Native American tribal people in origin. Some date back two or three centuries. Traditional jewelry is usually in abundant supply. Outside, the Trading Post offers a wide selection of desert plants and lighthearted metal sculpture, along with large museum-quality works in carved stone. Best of all, you will be astonished at the low prices on many of these treasures. Note that most items are handcrafted and thus one-of-a-kind. Once sold, they are gone. Check out the photographs and you will see lots of price tags. They are typical and will give you a sense of the price-range, but many individual pieces will have already been sold - and replaced by more wonders!
