Fayaz entered the Hospitality industry over 20 years ago in NYC. As a teenager, he gained his Operational knowledge of hospitality from 5 star Luxury Brand Hotels as well as Boutique- type Hotels. Fayaz worked with the Convention & Catering departments to ensure successful meetings and events. In his particular role with the production team, he worked closely with the Food & Beverage team, the set-up team and the Banquet team to address client and guests needs on the floor. In January of 2015, Fayaz outgrew the harsh NY winters and decided to move his family to South Florida. He took on an opportunity at The Boca Raton Resort & Club to re-structure their Production department. In this role, Fayaz was responsible for hiring a new team, improving sales processes as well as improving Customer Service and Revenue. After this project, Fayaz was ready for the next chapter in his career, partnered with Chef Andy and the rest is history... Welcome Tropical Grill Island Cuisine!
