University Grille

Built in 1997 and located in the Shippen Place Hotel, the restaurant originally known as the Black Horse Tavern saw quite the overhaul during the winter of 2010. After coming under new ownership, the freshly renamed 'University Grille' aimed to maintain the legacy of fine/casual fine dining in Shippensburg while growing its customer base to include college students and local residents by expanding the menu's sandwich selection, price range, and weekly/daily specials. To this day University Grille stands out a staple restaurant in the small town of Shippensburg.
