Usagi NY

Established in 2015. Inheriting the space from the beloved neighborhood Japanese curiosities purveyor Zakka, Usagi NY's 3,000 sq ft hybrid art/retail space has quickly become the favorite hangout of DUMBO's creative community. Designed by the celebrated Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, our endlessly mutable, versatile space seamlessly integrates cafe, gallery, and retail sections. Presenting the work and process of local and international creative thinkers at different stages of their careers, we seek to promote multidisciplinary art and blur lines between art and commerce.
