Val and his wife owned and managed the shop until they decided to retire in 2004. At that time, the shop was sold to an Easley girl that had grown up getting her prom flowers and floral bouqets from Val's Flower Shop. Val and his wife stayed involved for several years while they showed her the ropes. Over 15 years later, the shop is still going strong and growing.
