The resurgence of vinyl records has brought a new store to Hollywood. Vinyl Asylum Records & Memorabilia has opened at 2028 Hollywood Blvd. The shop buys, sells and trades vinyl records, collectibles, vintage toys, autographed items, sports and music memorabilia. Vinyl Asylum's record selections range from modern rock to jazz to reggae. Vinyl album sales in the U.S. have been on the rise in recent years, jumping 260 percent since 2009, according to data released this year by Nielsen.
