Virgie's BBQ & Catering

In 1965, Jessie and Virgie Handsborough decided to open Virgie's Place which quickly became the local teenager's spot for great burgers and fun. From 1975-1998 the building was converted into a community grocery store, Handsborough's Grocery. In February 2005, the Handsborough's son, Adrian took a plunge of faith and opened Virgie's Bar-B-Que. For over 20 years Adrian has been cooking "barbecure" for family and friends and his inspiration, his mother Virgie who taught him how to cook barbecue.
