I have worked on and off in the trades since I was a teenager. In '96, after seven years in the USAF, I worked on a painting crew doing custom home finishes while going to college at night. That morphed into working as an apprentice for a very good friend learning as much as I could about all manners of home improvement. For a season, I worked as Program Manager for a tier two auto supplier till the downturn in '09. From there I began doing remodeling for family and friends until I became licensed and insured in 2012.
