Wagon Wheel American Grill

In 1962 The Wagon Wheel was built and called Evergreen Lanes. It was soon purchased by Ron and Dorothy Lenneman. It was in 1973 that Herm and Ken Schrauben purchased the business. The brothers owned it for 11 years, after which Herm purchased Kens remaining interest. All of Herms 6 children worked in the business. Chopper the youngest started working there when he was old enough to stand on beer cases behind the bowling counter and collect money. In June of 1997 Chopper and his wife Jonda bought the business from his father and continue to be a part of the Portland community. The facility was totally remodeled in 1999 and an addition was added to the building. The facility was once again remodeled in 2010 to stay current with times and trends. The Schraubens continue the tradition of family in the facility. You will often times see their 3 daughters and various neices and nephews working in the facilty providing great customer service and fine food and drink.
