Yoga with Shirley

Nine years ago I shared a dream with my friend Hollie Merchant to have a place to practice the healing energies of yoga and massage. I had been doing yoga since in my 20’s (many years!) and teaching locally. Although grateful for the opportunityI was tired of teaching in loud gyms ,church basements and school cafeterias. Together we opened the Center for Yoga and Massage in a charming old building downtown. In a dedicated space I can teach small classes in an intimate setting where I can give individual attention. My personal style is a gentle flow, deep stretching combining hatha, kundalini, astanga and restorative yoga learned from many teachers throughout my travels..
