Zak's Avenue, established in 2010 by Deb Zakrzewski, is a truly eclectic one-stop urban specialty boutique located in the heart of Rochester's vibrant South Wedge village. We offer a friendly, relaxed shopping experience and an amazingly huge variety of unusual gifts and random, fun, cool stuff for everyone on your list including: jewelry, accessories, clothing, local art, handcrafts, pottery, glass, cards, stationery, books and deskware, candles & incense, personal care, home décor and housewares, kitchen & barware, baby and children's items, pet and animal themed items, specialty imports, antiques, vintage sundries, LBGT items and hilarious novelties and gifts. Much of our merchandise is created in small batches from all corners of the world, some of it by local and US-based artists, but all fair trade and top quality. Our brands are generally not found in the mega-big-box retail market, and are fun, funky, whimsical, artsy, edgy and off-the-beaten path. We truly have something for everyone, including crazy Aunt Ethel, who has everything (at least according to our customers!). To top it off, you won’t find better customer service or prices anywhere else in Rochester.
