Zazie

Established in 1992.

Catherine Opoix opened Zazie as one of the first restaurants in what was to become the bustling restaurant scene of sleepy Cole Valley in 1992. Jennifer Piallat became general manager in 2000, then purchased the restaurant in 2005, bringing long time server Mario Rojas up to general manager. Since becoming the first non-union restaurant in SF to offer full benefits and a retirement plan, Zazie now retains an amazing staff who are knowledgable and eager to please.
