Front Porch Cafe

The Front Porch Cafe is a unique community cafe in South Akron that exists as a connecting place between communities. The Cafe is designed to be equally welcoming to the homeless and recently released from prison as it is to the businessperson and professional world. The Cafe employs men and women who have come out of addiction and/or incarceration and serves quality food to the residents of and visitors to the South Akron community. Open since 2011, the Cafe has gone through a few iterations, presently the Cafe serves large, robust salads, hot and cold sandwiches made to order, and a variety of seasonal soups and specials.
